V Selective Recruitment are currently recruiting qualified Freelance Assessors and Verifiers for our client – A well established college in Birmingham. The role will involve working in the Birmingham / West Midlands region.

We are seeking both Assessors and Verifiers to work on part-time / freelance basis to support their NVQ delivery in the following areas:

. Health & Social Care NVQ 2
. Health & Social Care NVQ 3 (Adults)
. Health & Social Care NVQ 4 (Adults)

Experience of delivering the Registered Manager Award (Adult) would also be advantageous.

* Assessors must hold the A1 or equivalent and have experience of Assessing Health & Social Care
* Verifiers must hold the V1 or equivalent, and have the relevant expereince

As an Freelance NVQ Assessor, you will be required to do workplace assessing along with teaching of the underpinning knowledge. An Assessor A1 qualification is essential for this post. Main duties include . plan and deliver NVQ training programmes and workshops, observe candidates in their workplace, examine candidates’ portfolios of evidence, question candidates to assess how they would deal with non-standard situations, provide feedback, offer advice if the standards are not met, sign off the NVQ when all the requirements have been met and keep records of candidates’ progress. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense met by applicant/employer.
