NVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier (Youth Work)
South East Area. £20-28k pa plus bonus & expenses

New career opportunity for A1/V1 qualified Assessor/IV to work with a growing learning provider who is passionate about the quality of their training and believes in developing their own staff.

You must be able to assess and IV in Youth Work as well as to be able to deliver the full Apprenticeship framework including Key Skills, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills.

You will be assessing across the South East area, mainly Berkshire, Surrey , Essex and the outskirts of London and will attend the office in Bracknell at least once a week.

Our client looks for focused, motivated and positive staff who hold the A1 and V1 (or equivalent) Awards and have a driving licence and access to their own transport.

Salary is between £20-28k pa, plus travel expenses (40p per mile) and a bonus scheme.

Our client was the first private organisation to deliver the Government’s flagship “New Deal” programme in 1998 and since then has assisted over 100,000 people back into work. Due to expansion they are currently looking to recruit Personal Advisers for their Doncaster location.

Personal Advisers work with participants on a one-to-one basis to increase their skills and to find them employment, by providing them with a range of opportunities through strong relationships with Account Managers, local partners, employment and support agencies. You will need to find innovative ways to overcome the barriers to work faced by your participants, as well as actively marketing the programmes run for members of the community who may benefit from their services. In addition you will provide post-employment support to participants to help them to adapt successfully to the work environment.

All Personal Advisers receive:

• A competitive salary from £21,000 and development opportunities
• A comprehensive induction programme, in addition to on-the-job training
• Support towards a recognised Advice and Guidance qualification

To succeed in this role it is essential that you have:
6 months experience of working in a fast-paced and targeted sales environment
6 months experience of working in a customer facing environment such as retail or customer services
A clear commitment to working in the Welfare to Work sector (previous experience of working in Welfare to Work is NOT required).
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade A to C) or equivalent.

My client is a sector leading training provider who deliver a range of high quality vocational training across the construction sector. They have a new vacancy for a full time permanent Painting & Decorating Tutor in West London.

The purpose of this job is to educate learners to the desired level of education to enable them to gain employment within the construction industry. Training will be offered in a classroom and workshop environment.

The requirements for this role include a minimum of 5 years “on site” experience, previous trade instruction, a City & Guilds Advanced craft or NVQ 3 in a relevant trade together with a PTTLS (min) DTLLS or CertEd.

To succeed in this role you will have a good level of numeracy and literacy, basic computer skills and good interpersonal and presentation skills. You will ideally have experience of working with offenders or be willing to work with this client group.

Salary offered is £26-£32K depending on experience and qualifications + Stakeholder pension, 25 days leave, Life assurance
