Our client was the first private organisation to deliver the Government’s flagship “New Deal” programme in 1998 and since then has assisted over 100,000 people back into work. Due to expansion they are currently looking to recruit Specialist Advisers for their Hounslow location.

As a Specialist Adviser you will form an integral and highly valued part of our client’s dedicated team working with the long-term unemployed in one or more branches.

The job role entails:
• Delivering and facilitating group and individual training sessions
• Coaching members in the effective use of the training concepts and materials
• Building job seeker’s confidence and helping them overcome their own personal barriers to employment
• Improving job seeker’s job search skills
• Maintaining records on course delivery
• Promoting excellent relations with the employers, job seekers, partners and other relevant agencies

The successful candidate will ideally have strong communication and organisational skills and have training or coaching experience. You will have the desire to work with and help people from disadvantaged groups facing challenges to gaining employment and be comfortable working in a challenging and sometimes difficult environment. In return, the benefits include the satisfaction of working with and helping members of the community, training and development including a first month induction programme developing your hard and soft skills to engage and work with these candidates and the opportunity to gain an NVQ III qualification in Advice and Guidance.

Painting & Decorating Tutor – West London – up to £32K + Benefits – Fulltime permanent role

My client is a sector leading training provider who deliver a range of high quality vocational training across the construction sector. They have a new vacancy for a full time permanent Painting & Decorating Tutor in West London.

The purpose of this job is to educate learners to the desired level of education to enable them to gain employment within the construction industry. Training will be offered in a classroom and workshop environment.

The requirements for this role include a minimum of 5 years “on site” experience, previous trade instruction, a City & Guilds Advanced craft or NVQ 3 in a relevant trade together with a PTTLS (min) DTLLS or CertEd.

To succeed in this role you will have a good level of numeracy and literacy, basic computer skills and good interpersonal and presentation skills. You will ideally have experience of working with offenders or be willing to work with this client group.

Salary offered is £26-£32K depending on experience and qualifications + Stakeholder pension, 25 days leave, Life assurance

CRB required and client will take up upon appointment.

Work Based Learning Area Manager (Hospitality) – West London

£25-35k pa

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager to work with a leading training organisation in the Hospitality & Leisure industries. Based in West London this role supports and manages the business growth activities and the Team Leaders and Assessors to ensure that agreed targets and objectives are met.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy while also co-ordinating and supporting sales activities throughout the team. Your management and training background in Hospitality or other service industry will allow you to support the team in delivering a range of funded programmes. These will include Train to Gain, Apprenticeships and commercial programmes.

Management responsibilities will include target monitoring, development of recruitment and retention strategies, performance management and review and regular standardization activities alongside the Lead IV.

Quality Assurance is also a key part of this role and you will liaise with external verifiers, Lead IVs and support verification activities, as well as ensuring all LSC paperwork is compliant.

You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a management role in the hospitality or service sector and preferably hold the A1/V1 awards (or equivalent). You must be an excellent communicator both verbally and written and have a desire to develop new business and promote work based learning.

Salary for this role is ranging from £25k to £35k per annum plus benefits including travel expenses, private medical insurance, death in service benefit and contributory pension, plus car after six months
