£125 – £150 per day

Sagitta Recruitment urgently require a well-experienced Maths specialist up to A-Level, for a long-term position starting as soon as possible.

This School is a co-educational comprehensive school open to students of all abilities between 11-19 years of age. Set in over 40 acres of grounds, the school boasts a range of the most up to date teaching facilities. Each of the new classrooms has an interactive whiteboard with 600+ computers in use throughout the school. There are two cafeterias, two libraries, two halls and two gymnasia. The sporting facilities also include a Sports Hall, multi-gym, rugby and football pitches and eleven all-weather pitches. There are specialist Performing Arts areas including a dance studio. The school takes pupils from across the Borough who frequently use the excellent public transport services which terminate outside the school gates. Approximately 2150 students attend the school with over 200 teaching, support and administrative staff.

Qualified Dental Nursing Assessor/Tutor (Oral Health) – Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Salary is between £16500 & £20500 (Negotiable)

Our Chesterfield based client is a highly prestigious Training Provider organisation who support and advise business organisations across key areas of the East Midlands region. The organisation is growing very rapidly, and as well as their head office in Chesterfield, they have offices in Derby & Nottingham, along with numerous Training Centres within the region.
This organisation delivers Training contracts for the YPLA, The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and The Department for Work and pensions for learners of all ages.

The Role
They currently require a Qualified Dental Nursing Assessor / Tutor to join their Chesterfield based team. The role will involve serving Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire dental practices that are keen to develop their staff.

Overview
The key areas of responsibility are engaging with dental practices that are accessing work based learning apprenticeship programmes, for both youth and adults throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Ideally applicants will possess:-

• Assessor qualifications D32/D33 or A1.
• Occupational competency.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Enthusiastic qualities that motivate and engage companies and people into learning.
• Good ICT Skills.
• Understanding of Work Based learning and the associated funding streams.
• Clean driving licence and a car are essential.
• Registration with General Dental Council.

To promote and proactively engage local companies and young people into employment with training, whilst encouraging and motivating them to achieve; working in line with agreed set targets and contractual agreements.

Scope of the Role

The key areas of responsibility are proactively engaging with organisations and young people who are accessing employment with training, which involves:

• Proactively recruiting learners onto work based learning programs
• Employer Engagement
• Assist in the key processes in progressing learners on the programme (induction, initial assessment, programme planning, monitoring and review, progressing and tracking)
• To work within the quality framework

Ideally applicants will possess:-

• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Enthusiastic qualities that motivate and proactively engage young people into learning.
• Good ICT Skills.
• 2 years experience in employer / learner engagement roles
• A good understanding of the apprenticeship programme along with general knowledge of LSC & SFA funded programmes is essential
• A clean driving licence and car is essential for this role
• A Learning and Development qualification in teaching and training @ Level 3 would be desirable
